His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Fajer Group, a leading diversified conglomerate in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board and Director of SHUAA Capital, His Highness is the Chairman of Dubai International Holding Company. His Highness is also the Chairman of Al-Nasr Sports Club and is known for being the founding investor of Virgin Megastores in the UAE and founder of A1GP in 2001. He has significant financial experience, which was exemplified with his leading role in the restructuring of Al Fajer Properties in 2008. His Highness graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Finance. He has been recognised for his leadership qualities on a number of occasions, including being named 'CEO of the Year' by CEO Middle East in 2009 and 'Young Global Leader of 2007' by the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Al Qassim is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Real Estate Corporation and Wasl Asset Management Group. Mr. Al Qassim’s significant financial services experience was gained at National Bank of Dubai as the General Manager where he contributed to the growth of the UAE banking sector. Mr. Al Qassim is a board member of AMLAK Finance, the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, SHUAA Capital and Marfin Popular Bank. He also holds a Masters Degree in International Business and is a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Young Leaders.

Mr. Hammoud is an Executive Director at the CEO’s office of SHUAA Capital. Prior to this, Mr. Hammoud held the position of Executive Director and Partner at SHUAA Partners Ltd and before this was an Engagement Manager in the financial services practice at Booz & Co., where he led and participated in a number of projects covering strategic development, business planning, post¬merger integration, performance management and governance. Mr. Hammoud holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an MBA from the Lebanese American University and a Bachelor of Science from St. Mary’s University.

Dr. Sabah Hamad al-Sabah al-Binali is the Vice Chairman of Gulf Finance Corporation PSJC (‘Gulf Finance’). He has also served as Chairman of Zawya for ten years and three years as founding Managing Director of Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Gulf Finance, Dr. al-Binali was Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Saffar, a position he held since May 2007. Prior to co-founding Saffar in 2001, Dr. al-Binali was Head of Treasury & Investments at Union National Bank. Dr. al-Binali’s experience includes founding and overseeing regional financial services companies.

Dr. al-Binali holds a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University, and a Ph.D. in Computational Finance from Columbia University. He was trained at J.P. Morgan & Co. in New York.
